Fun and weary

This certainly is a fun and exciting trip, but it's also very exhausting, and I can feel its effect on my energy and mood. I guess for a city guy like myself, a long trip like this is an unprecedented stress and strain on my system, especially psychologically.
I've never done the mandatory military service in Egypt which I consider myself very lucky for not having done it, but in the same time such an endurance reshaping exercise would have come in handy right now. It's also not so often that I travel with other people for so long, each with their unique personality traits that may or may not work with mine and constantly present challenges to the way I operate.
This trip will be a great character defining, personality reshaping, wisdom enricher and life changing experience.
I'm looking forward to the rest of the trip and the adventure it brings, but I'm also looking forward to its end.
