Bill

Bill, originally uploaded by Ozventurous Fourtunus.

Meet Bill, he's been living in the caravan park with his wife for the last 10 years. Bill reckons they break even by living there, after all the bills, but they enjoy the lifestyle and the community it provides.
It has been an interesting phenomenon we've noticed since we got to WA, that a lot of old and retired people settled down in caravan parks, either in a permanent looking unit or a converted caravan-home. I guess it would be a cheaper way of living while having surrounded by the same age group in a tight and secure environment.
Apparently it is getting harder for caravan parks to keep making a good living though, because of increase in council taxes and rates! I hope the Cherokee caravan park goes on strongly and keeps providing these kind people with a safe and affordable living space.
